Loire Valley, France

Loire Valley, France:

The Loire Valley is the name of the wine country South and West of Paris. It's rich with vineyards, roman aqueducts, castles, and chateaus. Spanning the river Cher, is Chateau Chenonceau, a remnant of the decadent period of nobels surrounded by the starving masses. A time before the French revolution.

A good movie with a historical documentation of this period is Mel Brook's "History of the World - Part One." Maybe more histerical than historical.
