Day One - Varenna/Lake Como: | |
Taking the train from Milan, we got here early enough to spend some time walking around town and getting our bearings.
Tonight we stayed at the Beretta Hotel at the East edge of town.
We toured the town and enjoyed our first taste of Italy with a simple pizza at the Beretta Hotel's Restaurant.
Tomorrow we'll meet our guide and fellow tour members at Hotel Villa Ciprissi at the other end of town.
Looking forward to that. I've been to Italy before, but this is all new for Pam and our friends Debbie and Wayne.
