Day Two - Varenna/Lake Como: | |
Going to spend much of the day exploring Varenna.
There's a castle at the top of the hill, a cemetery on the side of the mountain, and lots of basic beautiful scenery.
Later today we all gathered at the Hotel at the South edge of town, the Hotel Villa Ciprissi. The Hotel Villa Ciprissi is a wonderful place.
It looks as though it's been here for a hundred years - and probably has.
