July 2009 - Choir Tour:
Day Twelve - Fatima & Lisbon

Day Twelve - Fatima & Lisbon

Left Guimarães this morning, heading South for the capital city of Lisbon. On our way, we stopped in Fatima, home of numerous reported sightings of the Virgin Mary in the early 20th century. The sightings established Fatima as one of the world's most famous pilgrimage sites. While there, we visited the famed Shrine of Fatima and the Basilica.

Later, we headed to Lisbon, the final destination for most of us. Kim took us on a sightseeing trip through this historic big city. Later, we shared our final tour dinner as a group.
