Day Nine - Ponte de Lima | |
Left Santiago this morning and headed south for Portugal.
Our first stop was in the riverside town of Ponte de Lima, named for the Roman stone-arch bridge that spans the Lima River. We visited the Museu dos Terceiros, housing sacred art and carvings.

Later we continue to Guimarães, where after checking into our hotel, the evening was ours to relax.
